Hello all,
If I understand the functions of each device/setup, the following should be able to do, but I hope someone can shine I light on my idea or has a better solution.
I have Domoticz at home with KaKu (KlikaanKlikuit) switches (Domoticz running on a Raspberry Pi with a RFXcom controller) and I have a Google Home device at home. I want to control scenes and switches in Domoticz with my Google Home (voice control). I know I can do that with Controlicz (paid) or with Webhooks (free), but I don't want to send my username and password all over the web and open that part of my network for public reach.
So I searched the internet and found the Broadlink RM Pro, that can send RF signals at 433MHz (the frequency the RFXcom is sending and receiving from). So I can use Google Home, IFTTT and IHC to send a command to the RM Pro to send a RF signal to Domoticz, to switch a scene.
Q1: Is that possible, if yes, how to implement that in Domoticz (do I need some installations on the Raspberry Pi Domoticz is running from) or can I programm a specific code in the RM Pro and learn the RFXcom/Domoticz to act on that signal?
Q2: if this is not possible, is there another way to control Domoticz scenes and switches from Google Home/Assistant, within the local network/without exposing my login data of Domoticz on the web/make that part of the network publicly accessible?
Thanks in advance for your help.
