I'm running the latest stable of domoticz, but even before then, i've been having trouble including new nodes.
(i can't do it) - this is via the hardware, z-wave, include new secure node drop down option.
I've got a gen5 stick and i''ve even had to resort to trying the disconnecting it and including via the button on the stick, but even that fails (push the button, red light blinks).
Any ideas why this is causing me issues?
I'm thinking it maybe something broken within the hardware rather than Domoticz, but i want to confirm i'm the only one with this issue currently.

Re: Issues with including nodes on gen5 stick
inclusion by clicking the stick button should be done with the stick UNPLUGGED from the USB port
to unplug it it is better to shutdown Domoticz first
What hardware are you pairing?
I had issues with Fibaro, they appear right after a controller reboot
You can try (if you are able to find it since Aeotec has discontinued it) to diagnose the stick with Aeotec ZenUtil utility

Re: Issues with including nodes on gen5 stick
Yeah i tried all that, nothing worked.
In the end, i contacted aeotec tech support and they said to download a tool called zensys-tools and change the mode of the stick into SUC.
That worked, all is well now.
So somehow, the mode of the stick was changed at some point.
