Install TBKhome TZ78

Post by Prozpect »

Hi,

I'm trying to install a TBKhome TZ78 behind a simple light switch.
I've installed it but when turned on it goes on and off continuously about twice a second.
If I don't connect the NO1 (load) it switches correctly, but my lamp won't go on.
Any suggestions?

Hope the images show up. first time posting here.

Its a dimmer. Try it with an incandescent bulb. If the flickering goes away, try it with a "dimmable" lamp.

Tz78 is a switch not a dimmer. Well for the connections. N01 should go to the lamp. S should go to the switch. L should go to the power cable. N should go to the negative cable.

In the Netherlands the color are black from switch to lamp. Brown for power and blue for negative. Is the wirering correct ?

Sorry for my silly mistake. I took a closer look at your wiring....

On your pic, the top terminal block must be a commoning type, with Live in to the L connection on the module, and to one side of the switch. That's OK.

But the lower one below cannot be a commoning type, the invisible Neutral connection (normally a Blue wire) should only go to the N connection on the module. And the load connection, presumably the Black goes to NO1, the switched relay output.

Take the Neutral directly to the module N, not via that terminal block....
I recommend you learn how to use a test meter, guessing wiring by colours is hit and miss......
