Hello,
I'm pretty much a beginner with Dashticz, but I got the the basics I think. I created the dashticz on my computer screen and it looks perfect, but on my iPad Air 2 it looks pretty bad in terms of scaling.
Is this someting I can fix myself within the config or CSS? I've added two attachments to show the differences.
Dashticz not scaling very well

The iPad screen resolution is less than your PC. Dashticz scales a few things, but the font size is more or less fixed.aeonfast wrote: ↑Friday 29 March 2019 16:21 Hello,

You can change the appearance via custom.css, but probably it's quite some work to update all the style settings.
Did you consider to design your Dashboard for the iPad? Then it will fit your PC as well.
Looking at your iPad screen you could make your second column a bit wider, and the third column more narrow.
Or shift the weather forecast to the first column, and in the second column use 3 blocks per row instead of 2.
Via custom.css you can reduce the space between the blocks and columns a bit. I'll try to find the correct setting. This will give some more space as well.

Re: Dashticz not scaling very well
he there,
Scaling is a big problem.
Perhaps design your view for the tablet first and build it accordingly. As screenresolutions are different.
In the wiki is also mentioned to work with different scalings/screenresolutions for tablet and pc. Unfortunatly i couldn't get it to work like i would. As in defining a screen resolution of 1200x800 for the tablet AND for PC browser(s). Eg. ['screensize']['default'] = 1200x800 etc.
What i did was defined a browserscreen/viewport with the size which the tablet is capable of displaying full screen. And configured columns and blocks and font-size according to that. With a few dry-runs after which i looked at the tablet and concluded that it then looked like i ment to be.
For the fontsize i use around 18 to 20px for titles and 16 to 18px for less importent info in the custom.css. And this is readable from 1,5m on a 10inch tablet.

Thanks for the replies, that pointed me in the right direction. After all it is ment for the tablet so with that in mind I'm able to create a layout that is usefull and scales good enough on the tablet
