It might have been raised before, but couldn't find it. I was a regular recurring 'timeout' with Buienradar 'onHeartbeat (a couple of times each day)'. This generates a great deal of errors that are not very informative or helpful. It would be nice to be able to prevent this error and/or reduce the nummer of Error-messages to generated.

Is there perhas something wrong with the python version usage of this plugin?
every-time i update my odroid board and my ubuntu os, there is a problem with the plugin...
I get an error domoticz rinning exited...
When i remove the plugin domoticz is running ok...
Do you now this problem??

I can't get the buienradar plugin to work and i get the following error.

it looks like a wrong python version problem.
Im running the latest beta on stretch and the rest of the plugins work fine.

Anyone has an idea how to solve this?

Love this plug-in.

I noticed the Buienradar XML also contains a forcast for 5 days ahead which the plug-in wasn't picking up. I'm interested in this forecast so I can control my floor heating. It takes a few days for my system to take effect. So when I see it's going to be cold enough and it's becoming a colder season I'll switch on the floor heating pump...now it's still manual, but want to have domotics control it. So I added some bits to to the python code to get these value readings in domotics.

However, I'm not a python expert (just added bits based on general programming experience and reading the source). Also I'm not yet used to GIT. So anyone interested in helping out and maybe making this part of the official version? Also I could imagine the code and extra features may need some tidying up and maybe people are interested in adding a switch in the hardware config to enable/disable this feature?

But in the devices list, there are no devices created. I removed all the files, restarted domoticz and reinstalled the buienradar script, after restarting Domoticz I selected the Buienradar under hardware. But still no devices are found... How do I (manually) created the devices?

No, I checked every tab, but there are no buienradar devices.

I just got a brainwave. In the settings I pushed the 'Allow devices for 5 minutes button' then reinstalled the buienradar plugin. And voila, the devices appeared under the devices tab. Problem solved

I try to display the buienradar weather data in the dashboard from Dashticz.
I use the hardware IDX, in the device tab.
But there is nothing to see in the dashboard, can someone explain why ?

First of all, thanks for the script. I was wondering if it is possible to move the rain devices from the "Utility" tab to the "Weather" tab in Domoticz as they are weather related. Thanks in advance for your reaction.

Everything works good with the script but when i check log file i get lots of erros

Already tried a reboot and create the devices/hardware agian

Does somebody now a sollutions

After upgrading to the latest version of this plugin I noticed that the text sensor with the weather prediction is not updated anymore.
In the log file everything is present. All other sensors are updated correctly.

What doe you see when you press the log button? You should see something like:

It simply stops updating the sensor.
It has stopped March 21, probably directly after I upgraded the Buienradar script.
