Lyric T6 thermostat does not show status
I added the Honeywell Lyric T6 to Domoticz, but it only shows the target temperature, the room temperature and the outdoor temperature from the Lyric T6 thermostat. Updates are very infrequent, by the way. And the heating on/off switch does nothing in Domoticz. I can't switch the thermostat on or off, It does not show the current state of the thermostat (on or off) either. I was hoping to build a script in Domoticz that warns me and turns off the thermostat if the door is open && the heating is on, but this way, it can not be done.... Or is there another solution?

Agree we should change the interval to something like 60 seconds instead of 300.
Also can confirm that the 2 switches for "Heating state" and "Heating" are read-only and switching the "Heating state" doesn't do anything.

Re: Lyric T6 thermostat does not show status
Even if I could only read the heating state, I could think of an application, but unfortunately, this thermostat (or the Honeywell API service) is far too unreliable to be taken seriously. Only every once in a while, the temperature and set point are measured accurately, My Domoticz log is full of lines saying 'Error: Honeywell: Error getting thermostat data!' I guess you get what you pay for with the Lyric T6: cheap and unreliable junk.

Re: Lyric T6 thermostat does not show status
Just installed Two T5 thermostats and having similar issues
Reads data first time Thermostats are added (4 devices each)
After that I’m getting error: Honeywell : Error getting thermostat data
I think it has something to do with tokens.
If I delete thermostats and add again it will read one time.
300 seconds delay cannot be changed it is a Honeywell api requirements.
I’m also wondering if it’s possible to control Thermostats locally over WiFi network.
I’m just starting with home automation and have no clue what’s going on and where to look.
Adding thermostats took me couple hours and I’m still not sure if I did it correctly. Tutorial is written for advanced users not beginners like me

Re: Lyric T6 thermostat does not show status
Update.
Both Thermostats just start working. not sure what was causing issues, maybe i wasnt patient enough.
No they dont update every 5 minutes as they should, sometimes ones an hour, sometimes ones every 3 hours.
changing target temperature does not work.
still for my purposes its good enough, planning to collect and store data for later analysis.
One thing i cant figure out is why outdoor temperature is often different on two thermostats, there are no physical sensors connected. honeywell providing temperature based on your location.

Re: Lyric T6 thermostat does not show status
So it must be the Honeywell API that sucks. It is strange that it is impossible to turn on and off the heating through the API, when this is possible with the Honeywell Home app.

My guess is that it isn't build in the current implementation in domoticz which is something different than "not possible"
