Works like a charm :)

Care to share the packaging scripts on the domoticz github or something? Maybe it can be embedded in the build pipeline.

This is not build with script, but with spksrc framework and the hole framework is 100GB and a lot of linux kernel mods for different cpu's because of the USB drivers that synology uses.
It's a major job to make a how to, and that I don't have the time for..

maybe a stupid question, but i looked at the internet and didn't find the answer.

I dowloaded the complete file from jadahls site, dsm6.2 and 115j, what i got is an .tar file.
In package center comes an error , the right format. I checked "accept third party"

What goes wrong?

DSM6.2
Diskstation 115J
Complete formatted, with one volume

Or is there another way to install this complete package without compiling or other difficult stuff. I like the easy way , sorry

It's should be .spk format..
DS 115j use arch-armada370
Try to download domoticz_armada370-6.2_4.0.10xxx-8.spk package and manual install.
Do not unpack the package with untar. just install the .spk package.

If you installed the Python version, you have to install Python 3 from synology first or the domoticz will not start.

Hello there,

I am new to Domoticz and testing some things.

I would like to install Domoticz Stable V4.9700 for DSM 6.2 with Python on my DS211J.

Would it be possible to create a package for this nas?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Sorry.
I do not compile domoticz for arch-88f6281 (DS211J) anymore because the toolchain and kernel from synology is to old and not compatible.

Hi all,

I've got a DS212+ running for years. No I want to use to run Domoticz.
From this forum I figured out that I had to install: domoticz_88f6282-6.2_3.0.9483-7.spk

After installing the package, Domoticz seems to run fine, but can't add the RFXCOM.

There are no entries in the logfile about the usb connected RFXCOM XL.

I think it's because synology use an old kernel in DS212+ arch-88f6282 that missing prod id (6015) for rfxcom xl.
I have recompiled the ftdi_sio.ko driver for you and added ProdID 6015 you can test.
Download the file from my server and rename the old driver in folder: lib/modules/ftdi_sio.ko to ftdi_sio.old and try my new driver.
http://www.jadahl.com/synospk/ftdi_sio.ko
Maybe you have to chmod the new driver and restart your nas.

For your information, I also have the UsbSerial Driver Package installed. I replaced the ftdi_sio.ko file with your newly compiled file.
Executed chmod 777 /lib/modules/ftdi_sio.ko and restarted the NAS.
