Absolute beginner

Hi all,

Recently i have installed domoticz and dashticz on my Rpi. I have been tinkering with my own dashboard and have had some minor successes with copy-pasting, but clearly i'm missing the basic knowledge on how to use the config.js.
In the configuration topic on the wiki the use of blocks and columns is explained but i cannot find any info on other components.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Questions that i have:

When to use config, var, buttons, frames?
When to use single quotes?
What are the predefined blocks like 'weather' and 'trafficmap'
Where are some of the icons like bus.png?

Maybe you can check https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... 67&t=17242 and see some dashboards people created. Take the time to read their config.js if available. It will explain a lot of your questions.
Q: When to use config, var, buttons, frames?
A: var is the old variable and not used anymore. Use config.
Q: What are the predefined blocks like 'weather' and 'trafficmap'
A: Creates a weather / trafficmap block
Q: Where are some of the icons like bus.png?
A: Icons used are in the img map. Other icons used are font icons. See https://fontawesome.com/icons?d=gallery&m=free

I have seen that thread, great inspiration but so far hasn't helped me understand what i'm doing.

With my question (What are the predefined blocks like 'weather' and 'trafficmap') i meant "which predefined blocks are there? ".
