Alecto WS1200. Changed protocol?

Post by WvdM »

I bought an Alecto ws1200 to add to my Domoticz setup. I use a RFXtrx433e (Batch 1015) with firmware Pro1/1033. After trying for days to get it working, replaced the standard antenna with a Delock that was mentioned on this forum, noise is between 64 and 74 dB.
Restarted the rain meter several times, with all protocols off but Lacrosse.
So either Alecto changed the protocol, or I forgot something...

I found this and followed b_weijenberg's advice. Sadly without result.

This is not a problem in Domoticz. Best is to contact support rfxcom.com
RFXtrx433, RFXtrx433E, RFXtrx433XL, RFX433XL, RFX868XL

The newer WS 1200 indeed appears to use a different protocol, so they're not interesting at the moment.
But the pretty cheap Lidl Auriol 288624 weather station (officially Model H13726A) works. It is identified as a Alecto WS 4500. I'm still testing, but it looks good.
[edit] Thanks to firmware 1036 it now works perfectly!
