Dimmer value to Python Script

Hello,

I would like to execute a python script when a dimmer value is changed, and of course I would like to get the new value passed to the python script. I don't see any example to do that. It seems to be possible only with LUA ? Am I right ? Does it mean that I need to implement a kind of LUA wrapper calling my python script ?
