OTG-gateway problem

Post by BartSr »

Hi,

I am using the OTG gateway for months now without serious issue's. Interface with Domoticz is OK.
Now I did some experimenting, wanted to put two gateways in serial (One KiWi version and one Nodo version) and once I put in the power plug onto the (Nodo) device all LED's flashed like it received a spike. Can't remember this is normal behaviour. But now while toggle between gateway and monitor in OTmonitor sometimes error 03 is thrown saying a bit is missing. Restoring the OTmonitor and the Nodo device does solve this. But no more Domoticz interface.

Any idea how to solve?

TIA

2 interface in serial will "slow down" the signal to much i think.. I recall that some heating system already with 1 gateway had some isseus.

Concerning, the flashing/spiking, did you connect both gateway's to the same power adapter ?

Thanks for your reply.
It's more about the hardware side that I wonder if putting two gateways in serial might harm.
Both gateways are supplied from different power unit.
Re the flashing LED's I got answer in other forum from Schelte Bron (developer of the OTG) .
According his answer, flashing is normal. If some is not flashing during power up then there might be a problem.
