Eventsystem resets every day at midnight

Post by sunny »

hello,
I have installed Domoticz on my Synology ds211 Nas.
Right now i am only using it for reading my P1 Smartmeter.
I made a notification (email) on the Gas-meter to inform me when the last update is more than 15 minutes ago. (i assume it is working that way, but i'm new with Domoticz so.....). I had some disturbances the last months.
The problem is that i get a mail once a day immediately after midnight with the message i configured: 'gasmeter fout'. And the other moring i get the mail with the recovery notification. But there are no disturbances.
When i look in the log of Domoticz i see that Eventsystem resets all events every day at 0:00 hour. Perhaps that is the explanation. However: why does Eventsystem do this reset? is this normal?

Thanks for your replies!

Yes is normal. Don't know for sure but I guess it is related to the new sunset and sunrise time and making them known to the events.

Thanks Waaren for your reply.
However, i don't think this has to do with sunrise or dawn. The reset is done right after midnight. It would be more logical that the reset was done after sunrise.
But my real problem is the notification that i receive; also immediately after midnight. That's why i think these 2 things are related. And i don't think that is the intention.
