Hello!
I attached a Arduino Mega and RFLink Board (from Nodo Shop) to my Raspi and Domoticz yesterday. I Already added successfully a PIR - running well. Today I bought a Smartwares SH5-RPS-36A Plug - but what now? How can I connect this to Domoticz?
I have read a lot of stuff... but doesn't have any better clue...
Could somebody please help!
Thanks
Boris

Re: New to RFLink - want to connect Smartwares SH5-RPS-36A
Hi, I don't have one of these but I assume it has a learn button.
Two ways to connect such switches:
(1)
Pair it with a remote
"Learn Switch" function from Domoticz and record the remote frequency.
At this point the switch is controllable both from the remote and domoticz itself (Domoticz simulating the remote)
(2)
If you don't have a remote, create a manual switch
Choose your RFLink as your H/W - choose whatever protocol is for Smartwares (I have an RFXCOM and this is "AC")
Enter some numbers so as to create a random code.
Press the learn function on the device
Use the Test Button to transmit
Your device will be controllable from the Domoticz device created.
hope this helps
