Cheap chinese z-wave products

Hello all,

I have ordered the Neo Coolcam NAS-WR01ZE on Aliexpress, but they are not correctly recognized by Open Z-Wave. They seem to have a different hardware ID than what Open Z-Wave (and the Z-Wave alliances' product catalog) have on file.

It shows in OZW as "Neo CoolCam Unknown: type=0200, id=1027" while according to OZW config and Z-Wave alliance only Product type="0003" id="0087" and Product type="0003" id="1087" are registered. Any help on how to fix this?

i have 8 of these devices. they all work perfectly. I am runnning on development codebranch. not on release codebranch. Could this be the difference?

Where in OZW is product type and id reported? I can check if my devices have the same type and id...

I have the same one, but my works ok..

I just found out something new: the device does report humidity, only it is a lot later then i would expect (and need, since i want to trigger my ventilation unit based on humidity levels). and when i wakeup the device by sticking the pin in the small hole, which is also used for device inclusing, it is reported right away. So it might be that the sensor is just asleep for a long time and every now and then reports humidity.

So in your experience: What is the reaction time of the sensor when humidiy levels change?

I suggest you create a separate topic for your device only. Others will be able to find your experiences and know that all information is for that device.

If devices are not recognized probably it mostly has something to do with a outdated OZW hardware .xml file.
here is the latest z-wave file : https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave ... ecific.xml

and manually add your devices to Domoticz/Config/manufacturer_specific.xml file. First backup this file. After that exclude and include the devices and it should be recognized.

I've just tested it and it was about 10min (after opening the window).

Just sent the following off to the manufacturers. If I get a response, will post it here.
What it means is that as long as the light switch is installed very close to the module, (or vice-versa) no problem. But on a long cable run, as in my case to a dual switch,it will not work, or work unreliably. Of course if manual switching isn't needed, no problem....

I have several Wenzhou TKB Control System TZ74 Dual Switch+ installed, and have run into a problem. The "S" inputs for local switching are too sensitive. They work OK as long as the hardware switch is very close to the module, but any distance over 150cm is unreliable, causing no, or false triggering. I am able to switch the relay just by touching the S input through a high value resistor. My Fluke test meter does the same. I have tested two units, and see the same problem on both, its not a manufacturing problem.

Did you even open the page linked to? The item advertised in the link is a z-wave controlled valve. The kaipule im20 is a door sensor? how can you even think these are the same device??

Lol, that's a mistake easy to make. But the kaipule im20 works ok in domoticz? Easy to include and install? What batteries does it take and how long before ypu need to put in new ones?

Yes it works, easy setup, AAA batteries, and the discription tells that you need to replace the batteries after 2 to 3 years.

as i know.. the door sensor are not zwave certified.. and price is higher a lot than neo coolcam door sensors
