Re: Low cost window/door sensor
Hmmm i got 3 sensor al working according to my list.
You got your blockly wrong.
The sensor only had the "on" status for a few seconds and then it turns off again. So according to your blockly, it wil turn off.
you can only use the first 2 lines and remove the last 2. Then it will work.

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
Whether the low cost sensors send an On of Off command depends on the jumper settings. I have 1 PIR sending an On command when movement detected and another one sending Off when movement detected.HoLeeShiet wrote:Hmm strange. When I follow your instructions with only yellow I get an OFF code:martjah wrote:So i found some other ON codes
only yellow: ARC P16 ON
yellow + orange: ARC P8 ON
yellow + green: ARC P12 ON
yellow + blue: ARC P14 ON
yellow + gray: ARC P15 ON
**ignore the jumpers, old settings not working. distance only 3.3m**
Lighting 1 ARC Off 7
Now my question is how I can trigger this motion sensor to turn on the light in my toilet? I tried to put this in an Event but it doesn't work:
So, in your Blocky, you should set if Bewegingssensor = Off then Toilet spot On. Seems a bit strange, but it just depends on the jumper.
Re: Low cost window/door sensor
Just got mine, but can somebody tell me how to install them? Domoticz doesn't seem to have a subtype called "BBSB new" and learn also doesn't seem to work.

Thanx for the solution. I have it working by removing the last 2 blocks.martjah wrote:Hmmm i got 3 sensor al working according to my list.

And what if I accidentally removed the device because it didn't seem to be working? Can I add it again?HoLeeShiet wrote:1. Setupvespino wrote:Just got mine, but can somebody tell me how to install them? Domoticz doesn't seem to have a subtype called "BBSB new" and learn also doesn't seem to work.

How to test the device by the way?

You can delete and add any device again. You can find and test it in Devices - Not Used

I removed the device from switches. It appeared under devices automatically in the first place, I don't recall having added it by hand. The device doesn't seem to appear again. I have unset "undec on" and turned it on again, but this doesn't do the trick.HoLeeShiet wrote:You can delete and add any device again. You can find and test it in Devices - Not Used

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
Take out the battery and put it back in. Then trigger the device and check under unused devices again... Maybe remove a jumper, then batt out/in and then placing it back and again batt out/in... Just some wild suggestionsvespino wrote:I removed the device from switches. It appeared under devices automatically in the first place, I don't recall having added it by hand. RPI 3b+, PiFace 2, RFcom, Aeon Zwave USB, Aeon Home Energy Meter Gen 5, several Shelly switches, several ESP8266 sensors.

Nothing happens... very strange!drogert wrote:Take out the battery and put it back in. Then trigger the device and check under unused devices again... Try to put the battery in opposite for 10-20 seconds and then placing it back normally. Then proceed with the steps as described.

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
Does the red light of you sensor even blink?
As described earlier it should be automatically recognized in Domoticz (v.1906 beta version). I tried by deleting and adding the door sensors again and they show up as subtype PT2262. See attachement.

Very strange, the red light does blink but it's not added to the system.

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
Hi,
I'm new owner of a RFXCOM and I would like to add some of these cheap detector.
I see on ebays other detectors, like smoke detectors for example here:
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/433MHz-4-7M-Wire ... 3cd18fffaf
It says 4.7m 433mhz.
I can find other 1.5m or 3.3m detectors.
What is the difference between 1.5 3.3 and 4.7m for wireless 433mhz derives ?
May I buy any of the 3 type for use with RFXCOM ?
Thank you.

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
I have 2 MC398G door sensors from ebay, the same as the topic starter with the SC2262 decoder. My devices do only work with the jumper on 3.3 Mnmaster wrote:Hi,

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
It is just the value of a resistor (3.3MOhm)nmaster wrote: What is the difference between 1.5 3.3 and 4.7m for wireless 433mhz derives ?
Changing the value of this resistor changes the oscillation frequency.
If your devices doesn't have a jumper to easy change this value you could (if you are handy) remove the 4.7MOhm resister and solder a 3.3MOhm resistor instead.

Thank you.
So to add detectors, I better have to chose 3.3M ones when it can't be changed by jumper ?

Re: Low cost window/door sensor
This wireless detecor could be used for alarm system with 1.5M / 3.3M / 4.7M and 433Mhz !
Dirtcheap it is: € 5,66 incl. shipping.
Not guaranteed it will work with the RFXtrx433(E). Buy and try!
Or purchase KD101/FA20RF smoke detectors wich are supported and not expensive!
