Just to be sure, you have a working Apple device as a HomeKit hub activated? Even i activated my iPad it actually worked perfect!

Zwave flood sensor support?

im thinking of adding a zwave leak/flood sensor so i can add it to homekit via homebridge and edomoticz.

im not sure if it will work. what type of switch is such a sensor in Domo? i would figure its a contact sensor if so this plugin should work but not sure if it will use the specific homekit type for flood sensor (probably open and closed instead)

Anyone use one?

Also anyone have recommendations for one. thinking of getting the fibaro zwave plus sensor (vs their homekit one which relies on bt )

Is this wiki up to date: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Homekit_Siri

I started from fresh (both domoticz and homebridge), all working fine, however the RGB lights are seen only as dimmers. Anyone?

Just to clarify, the type is colour switch and the subtype is RGBWWZ

Thanks! At least I won’t go mad trying, I was really confused because in the past had worked (and it does if the bulb is Hue. Even via eDomoticz but not with Z-Wave ones

Hi, I think the answer is probably in this thread somewhere, but I could not find it via search.

My devices work fine in the Domoticz mobile app, they all work except 1 in homebridge, which used to work :?

I have restarted Domoticz and Homebridge and that one switch in homebridge still does not work, how can I refresh / reload that switch rather than deleting it in Domoticz and Adding it again???

Cheers :D

The same here, installed homebridge again! Then it worked for a few hours.. but then lost the switches out of homebridge again.

I think iOS is the problem, but don’t know / can’t find the workaround.

I I had the same problems. At one point I did not get it solved.
Then i installed homebridge in Docker on another Pi.
The same plug-in is installed on this Pi and that's how I approach domoticz.
The result is a stable solution with all switches etc. from domoticz

Its not clear to me.

I run Domoticz with homebridge plug-in.

Can i install docker on this image and than run homebridge in docker? How do i link to domoticz from there.

Hi guys, I'm a new user
recently I use DOmoticz with homebridge.

I realized something:

using iphone (home kit) when I send the command to turn off a light "Ehi siri, turn off the light" the command is sent off regardless of whether the device is on or off, if the device in the homekit is turned off, it is still sent the command to turn off the light.

Unfortunately the same thing does not happen when to turn on the light. If the light is on in the homekit, when I send the request "ehi siri turn on light", Siri answers "ok the light is on" and does not send the ignition command which is what I want, as happens when I ask to turn off the light.

is there a remedy for this?

basically, I have a device that can turn on even with a manual switch, regardless of domoticz, and therefore homekit never knows exactly the status of the device.
I would like to send the on / off commands (turn on - turn off) regardless of their status.

Hello everybody,

Are WW lamp work at the moment? I have Type: Color Switch, WW, Dimmer lamp and color temperatur work through domoticz, but in homebridge I see it only as switch. It is only my problem or know bug?
Spoiler: show

Edit: seem to be not. My simple virtual temperature sensor is working in the Homekit app. But I have other BME280 sensor Baro+Temp+Hum, which is not supported, only in EVE.

I have a Yeelight RGBW lamp, which is recognized correctly as RGBW(W) / Lighting Limitless/Applamp. Everything is working fine, unless that I can't set a nice soft-warm color. I can set all RGB color, but something around 3500K not.

From LUA script I set like this:

2018-02-28 20:59:27.519 LUA: sudo echo -ne '{"id":1, "method":"set_scene","params":["ct",3572, 75]}\r\n' | nc -w1 192.168.1.82 55443
2018-02-28 20:59:27.519 LUA: Color Temp= 3572

Screenshot:
IMG_1271.jpg

This setting in the reality is ice blue, if I move a little bit higher it's immediately set lamp to orangeish-red color.
The fix for this can’t be provided until rewrites in Domoticz core are complete regarding colour light support & the Domoticz JSON API. Once those rewrites have made it into Domoticz stable release, full support should be doable within homebridge-edomoticz.

UPD I am on 4.9700 Domoticz and latest edomoticz and homebridge

Since I enabled MQTT, virtual dimmers keep increasing the level in HomeKit by 1% per second.
This happens when I adjust the level for the dummy device through HomeKit, and stops as soon I close the level-view in HomeKit.

I read about a "1%" bug, dated in 2016, but as far as I could find, it has been fixed. Perhaps this is a bug/side-effect caused by the fix, which only goes for virtual-devices (dimmers).

Can someone confirm this behaviour?

@robbie - subscribe to the MQTT feed with a feed-reader and monitor what’s getting sent. Sounds like something is repeating the message.

Those with Z-Wave RGBWWZ issues being detected as a dimmer:

Replace homebridge-edomoticz/lib/domoticz_accessory.js with https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Patch ... cessory.js

Restart homebridge & test your Z-Wave RGBWWZ devices (may need to dump persist data from ~/.homebridge/persist/, but try without doing so first)
Extended Domoticz homebridge-plugin for latest Homebridge - adds temp/humidity/pressure sensors, power consumption sensors, DarkSkies virtual weather station support, YouLess Meter support, general % usage support & switch/lamp status checking!

@Marci; The messages are not repeated. What I can see when inspecting the messages, is that domoticz/in receives the level + 1. Then domoticz/out sends that new level (with 1 added).
So then HomeKit adjusts to the new level, which again gets send and again 1 is added, and so on.

It seems to me that edomoticz is adding the 1% level somehow.

I have everything running at stable versions, no betas.
I can’t imagine I’m the only one experiencing this. What would be the best way for me to proceed in order to fix this?
