Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
It looks like the issue is with Google authentication, which is affecting Controlicz as a whole. Am actively working on whether this is something I can alter and work around

Ok - service is back, but will be watching it for any other issues. Will update if anything else occurs.
For those using firewall rules, please note the IP change (you'll see it in your logs). I've switched to an elastic IP, which whilst short term pain, is long term gain.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hello,
I've setup an controlicz account and linked it to my domoticz server and to google home. I can see my device (light switch) in Google Home, however google home app says it's offline. In controlicz all information is available and seems ok. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rob van Baalen

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I got this situation:
2019-01-03 23:25:23.771 Status: User: controlicz initiated a switch command (10/Attic lights/Off)
2019-01-03 23:25:24.382 Status: User: controlicz initiated a switch command (486/Chromecast - Volume-Attic speaker/Off)
2019-01-03 23:25:24.382 Error: Switch command not send!, Hardware device disabled or not found!
Device 486 doesn't exist anymore. Not sure why google home thinks it is, it's also not in controlicz anymore and I did multiple "sync my devices"
maybe it gets sorted out by google after a night sleep...

Google suggest it's a caching issue with Homegraph - the service they use internally to hand off the number of queries back to Controlicz. It was raised by someone else a couple of months ago - will chase.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi Madgeni,
A couple of weeks back I send you a message from my Controlicz profile about a problem with activating scenes. Too bad I never got a response.
For this amount of money I was expecting some kind of support.
Anyway. I found now that activating scenes on my Home mini is indeed not working. It responds with "I don't know to help you with that" (in dutch though). But what I didn't know is that it is working on my phone with the same commands.
Do you (or anyone else) know the resolution to this problem. I don't think there are seperate settings for Google Assistant on phone and the home mini.
What I did try :
- Reboot home mini
- Unlink Controlicz and re-add
- Adding scenes to room

Firstly, apologies for not responding - it's quite unlike me
I've not come across that issue, hopefully someone else has. I will ask Google for any insight they might have also.
Apologies again

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Just found that I have the same problem with scenes by Broadlink PRO (not yet connected to Domoticz so in my case no Controlicz problem). The scenes in IHC app work voice controlled on my phone (Google Assistant) but not via Google Mini's. (Dutch too)mastair wrote: ↑Sunday 06 January 2019 8:13 Hi Madgeni,

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I must be doing something wrong. My devices are showing up in controlicz and i can control them in the google assistant by pusing the switches. But my Google Home and/or the assistent keeps telling me 'i dont know how to help with that' (in dutch) if i use voice control. What am i overlooking?
Edit: i updated my subscription so maybe that gave some problems. I reconnected controlicz and all started working

Do "lock/unlock" commands work with Google Home + Controlicz? The Controlicz web UI sees it as a "Google/Alexa" door, but I can't get commands to work with Google.

Hi, I'm still waiting for them to be released. Understandably, think they want to implement 2fa for opening doors!

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
hi everibody, it all seems ok but…..
It's two year I'm usin domoticz with lights and open/close Windows at home. It's not so much but it works !
Now I want to use google home, so I start to implement in google home my device "Home magic" to control strip led rgb and it works good
then I try Controlicz to implement the domoticz system and I have problem:
1-opened account (free) and il reach my domoticz (on https port 443, ok) the devices appear in the dashboard of controlicz
2-whe I ask google to switch on kitchen lights It answer "sorry but the controlicz device is not available at the moment" , after this message it appear "KITCHEN LIGHT" with the toggle activate/deactivate (but it doen't control really the lights)
why this problem? Is the free version ok?
thank you in advance, I'm going crazy

To use Google assistant voice commands you have to use the paid version.gexon wrote:hi everibody, it all seems ok but…..

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
New of domoticz and so just discovered controlicz. I was wondering if with controlicz I'll be able to make google home see a device in a room so that I'll be able to omit the room's name to control devices of the same kind that are in each room. I've obviously a google home in each room and with Hue hub is already possible to do so for the light. Since I don't know if I've been clear I'll make an example, in every room I've a roller shutter, a thermostat , hue light bulbs and google home. With google home and philips hub I can already say just switch on the light and have just that specific room light on. I would like to do the same with roller shutter and thermostat. Is it possible ?
