Zigbee2MQTT hardware "ready 2 go"

Hi,

Is there a place/site where i can buy the Zigbee2MQTT hardware (CC2531 USB sniffer) that has already been programmed?
Seems a bit weird that everyone is buying a programmer + cable + CC2531 USB sniffer, while you only need the latter after programming it.

Or perhaps someone has a "Ready to Go"-spare to sell?

You really should be buying the programmer at the same time.

The project has updated the firmware many times already with improvements, Zigbee2MQTT is a rapidly developing and will soon move to Zigbee 3* which you would need the programmer to take advantage of if you flash it with the current Zigbee 1.2* firmware.

Personally I bought 3x CC2531 and the programming tool all at the same time, I'd suggest get the tool and a couple CC2531's so you have a spare if you need it.

They are pretty cheap, certainly a lot cheaper than buying a Z-Wave USB stick with the AU frequency, that's for sure.
