I've been using EvoHome via an HGI80 for some time now and have to say the integration's been brilliant. However, I've just added the hot water kit, which includes a temperature sensor for the cylinder. The sensor's showing up in Domoticz, but there's no log. This is the same on the "devices" tab or using the log button on the temperature sensors screen:
I've also got the old Domoticz script installed and can add the hot water sensor via that, but get the same result. I've had a quick search and couldn't really find anything - any ideas?
( I'm on version 4.10178 )

It seems like it has the wrong data type. It shows % instead of temperature.

Yep, so it looks as though the device was created with incorrect parameters by the EvoHome subsystem. Question is, how do I fix it? I've had a quick look at the database and it does seem to be recording the information there - what information does Domoticz look at in order to decide what type of graph to create?

My guess was check the db, but you just done that. Not sure how to get attention on this topic or who to ask.

Do I need to make any other changes apart from https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/pull/2864/files and restart domoticz?

No, but bear in mind you might have cache issues. I'm not sure what the best way to clear the cache for a given page is, but on Chrome I did the following:sexyboy wrote: ↑Wednesday 14 November 2018 17:50 Do I need to make any other changes apart from https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/pull/2864/files and restart domoticz?
- Go to the hot water graph page
- Chrome Menu -> More Tools -> Developer Tools
- Developer Tools Menu -> Settings
- Under "Network", Select "Disable Cache ( while DevTools is open )
- Reload the page

Re: EvoHome hot water sensor no historic log
Thanks for catching this bug and fixing it!
I'm just restarting my work on the Evohome code in Domoticz after a long gap and I'll be looking out for future Evohome issues on the forum.
Regards,
Dan
