Hi,
I can't update the Aeotec Z-stick controller configuration (and switch of the LED). When I set the "Controller blinking" to disabled and I click "Apply configuration for this device", nothing changes on the Aeotec Z-stick. The LED keeps blinking.
Including and removing nodes works fine. Also the devices related to these nodes works fine.
Can someone help me solve this issue?
As far as I know, the Aeotec Z-stick is always active and you don't need to get it out of sleep mode. If you do need to get it out of sleep mode, can you tell me how?
History
Initially everything was working. I could update the configuration of the Aeotec Z-stick controller. But than I had to reset it to factory defaults. After reset I added it again to Domoticz. In Domoticz the config settings of the Aeotec Z-stick controller were still there with blinking disabled. But the Aeotec Z-stick LED was blinking and after that "Apply configuration for this device" didn´t work anymore for the controller.
This is what I have:
Raspberry PI 3 model B
Debian version 8 (Jessie)
Domoticz version : 4.97
Aeotec Z-stick Gen 5 firmware version 1.4
Thanks, Matzi

Can't update controller config of Aeotec Z-stick Gen 5
Did the idx change after you re-added it? If you just reset it outside of Domoticz then Domotic will still be looking for the old hardware. You may need to delete it, restart Domoticz, and then re-add it.

Re: Can't update controller config of Aeotec Z-stick Gen 5
Thanks for your reply philchillbill.
I did remove the Aeotec Z-stick in Domoticz (using the GUI), close Domoticz, restart my Raspberry Pi, start Domoticz, add the Aeotec Z-stick ==> no changes, The Aeotec still doesn’t react on any changes in the config.
It does look like Domoticz keeps the Aeotec in Some cache If you remove it with the GUI.
When I Add the Aeotec “Controller blinking” is disabled in the GUI (not on the controller itself). And also the security code is how I set it before.
Do you know a way how to completely remove the Aeotec from Domoticz?
