Deep URL Links to HTML frontend or app?

Post by julianmclean »

So, as part of my setup, I send notifications to iOS via Pushover, such as when the house enters dormancy mode (based on presence), or other interesting events. These notifications contain a URL, and on iOS you can choose to jump straight to the URL attached to the notification. This would be useful for, say, directing the recipient to a particular switch or page in Domoticz front end (or the iOS app). Some time back, I used an iOS app called LaunchCenterPro to provide a sort of native interface to Domoticz via JSON API calls, and what was good about this was that it supports deep linking URL schemes in iOS so that the URL could go directly to the relevant page or action. I gave up on LCP as it was too much hassle to maintain, but the idea of being able to jump directly to the relevant part of the Domoticz UI was something I found useful.

So, the question are:
1) Does the Domoticz iOS app support deep linking url schemes that I could send in these notifications to open the app on a particular page, switch or room(plan)?
2) Does the native Domoticz HTML front end support URL entry points for viewing (and changing) individual switches, or pre-filtering a page for a given room(plan)?
