Hello
Is there a way to have stop function for blinds which are controlled by Zwave? Either my Fakro roof windows or fgr-222 haven't.

The fgr222 can be used as a percentage device, then you don't need a stop.

You just need to avoid sending a command when the obstacle is there.
I have a movable stair that goes up/down with a roller shutter motor. The stair needs to pass a window. You can’t control the stair from floorplan or remote when the window is open.

Well, that's true for planned uses. I have a blind that can not be opened if the door underneath is open, and I have it like this: if the door is open I do not send the order.
But accidents can not be foreseen. That's why they are accidents. There may be an unforeseen obstacle or something may happen. For example, once a slat of the blind came out of its place and got stuck with the engine while climbing, creating a good disaster. With the STOP command, you could prevent that.

To avoid the motor of overheating or somekind similar due to an obstacle you can also finetune parameter 22. Motor operation time. Then, at least the motor won’t be powered for 4 minutes. Set it to couple of seconds longer than it takes.

Thanks for your answer.
I have other Zwave blinds which don't support percentage. So, I can only open or close them. In winter I don't care, in summer, I would appreciate to open them just a little.

Interesting. I had not played with that parameter and can save more than one situation.
But, anyway, in the case that commented the engine is not overheated. Shutter motors are quite powerful, at least stronger than blinds. In my case, the engine continued running destroying all the slats along the way.
