dasticz show several errors
Hi,
I hope someone can help me with a couple of issues...
1. Dashticz remains showing domoticz path errors.
In my CONFIG.js I have the following text:
config['domoticz_ip'] = 'http://192.168.1.xxx:8080';
config['user_name'] = 'retetiba';
config['pass_word'] = 'yyy';
I checked these settings several times with the real domoticz path... and I can not find the error.
Swithes do work after loading the page... for some time, after that it says that it has a connection error. Only reloading the page solves the issue.
2. Is it correct that dashticz can only show items which are in the "dashboard" tab of domoticz?
I hope someone can help
regards
Rene

What's the full Dashticz path? Did you install in Domoticz subfolder or are you running an other webserver?
Blah blah blah

Hi
I have installed dashticz in the standard folder (I think). The files are located in ~/domoticz/www/dashticz_v2.
I assume this is correct.

So you access Dashticz by: http://192.168.1.xxx:8080/dasticz_v2/index.html
Also attach your CONFIG.js and a screenshot of the actual error messages.

Re: dasticz show several errors
Hello,
Thank you for the reply. I have attached my config.js.
The error starts at the moment that dashtics is loading. with the "moving moons"loading it already states there is an error of my config.js and refers to wiki.
the dash starts normally, but after some (??) time it stops responding.
Hope anyone can help.

Re: dasticz show several errors
If you press F12 (in Chrome) look for errors in the console view. That might give an indication of the source of the problems.
Probably it's best to test it step by step: Test without the buttons and frames. They might give issues, especially when refreshing.

Re: dasticz show several errors
You can ignore the XMLHttpRequest error. It should be a warning by the way.
The first error is a problem. The last sentence as well.
Try to find out which call is causing this. If you click on [Meer info] you probably will get more info.
If you reload dashticz and you look in the 'network' tab of the Chrome Developer Window (the one that appeared after pressing F12) you see all the resources that are being loaded. Can you make a screendump and post is here?

Re: dasticz show several errors
Hi,
I use firefox, so checking was a little different.
I found 3 items:
1. Error in de link of weather. Buienradar was ok, but the deeper link appeared to have an error --> fixed.
2. missing link on: http://192.168.1.190:8080/dashticz_v2/vendor/head.js
3.Fout bij brontoewijzing: TypeError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.
Bron-URL: null
Brontoewijzings-URL: maps/swiper.min.js.map
Hope this gives more info.

Re: dasticz show several errors
Probably it's best to start with a completely fresh install of dashticz (preferably latest beta), and then start adding screens and blocks to your config.js to see what introduces the error.

Re: dasticz show several errors
I got the same Problem with a fresh install. By the way, settings get not stored else.
edit: Changed the IP directly in CONFIG.js
But on webserver the config will not stored. What can it be?
edit2: its because I use the Domoticz Webserver. I need a Webserver with PHP to save.
