Z-Wave Working horrible on my Domoticz
So right now my z-wave Neo Coolcam plugs are not responding properly to the commands (not always) that I am giving through domoticz and I can't seem to add new ones either. In addition, I can't seem to add a remote scene master ZRC-90 properly. I tried running a fresh domoticz and some other random stuff but at this point I am just clueless on how to fix it.
- Neo Coolcam EU
- Z-Wave USB Z-Wave Transceiver (this one)
- ZRC-90 SCene master (
- Raspberry Pi 3 B v1.2
- Domoticz, Version: 4.9700
If anybody could steer me in the right direction I would very much appreciate it.

I'm using the exact same Z-Wave controller and have two ZRC-90's working without any problems.
What exactly is going wrong, does it refuse to pair or not work after it's paired?

Both. Some refuse to pair and once they are paired some are unresponsive.

In my case, not able to pair was the result of the sensor still keeping its previous settings and assumed it was paired to some other controller. I solved it by resetting every sensor and the controller to factory settings and started pairing of each sensor from scratch.
Also, adding the sensors not from the domoticz but moving the controller near to the sensors and add manually helped a lot.

Which controller are you using that allows you to add them manually?

I had no end of trouble with the zwave controller of that type, most of which went away when I upgraded to an Aeon Zenstick 5. And I am not alone .. check out:

As someone already mentioned, being able to walk up to the remote item and pair it with a 'naked' controller works a lot better than broadcasting a pair/unpair command and running off to the far ends of the earth to push a button and pray.
Zwave is good when it works, when it stops working, it really sux.

Yea thanks guys the Aoetec ZWave USB stick Gen5 does work with the plugs that weren't working before. Not only that it is also tons faster than the USB Z-Wave. I still have to get the ZRC-90 working properly and the Neocoolcam wall switches. I will update this post after I manage to do so. Thank you for all the tips.

Re: Z-Wave Working horrible on my Domoticz
I had similar problems with the NEO coolcam plugs in conjuction with a Zwave.me usb controller. After searching the internet I found that the NEO coolcam are not that good in setting up the mesh network. So I ordered 1 fibaro switch (more expensive unfortunately), but since then everything is working fine for a few months now.
