File not found when installing on Ubuntu

Post by BentCold »

I'm trying to install a Proof Of Concept Domoticz server on a virtual LightUbuntu machine for my Home Automation project. (Will be on a Raspberry Pi in Production). To prove to myself that Domoticz can do all it says - and I can figure out how to :-)

But when I install using the curl macro I get a 404 File not found.

Do I need to add some repository / path / ... ?
I'm neither a programmer nor a Linux expert - so maybe its elementary :-)

I have been struggeling with that problem for months and nobody on this forum. I have running it now for 2 days without problems. Ive done a clean install of Ubuntu and than ive done apt-get update and apt-get upgrade. After that i have done the installation the hard way (compiling from source). This was the solution for me. I have even contacted my provider of they had blocked anything haha. I also bought an other desktop and that was not the solution. Let me know if you want information and if it is solved.
