Hallo,
We have configured Website protection for Domoticz and port forwarding.
If we follow: http://xx.xxx.xx.87:8080/ outside then there is al lonin screen.
but the subfolders are not protected.
Example:
http://xx.xxx.xx.87:8080/templates/readme.txt is not protected?
How can we protect these subfoldes from Domoticz?
At the moment we do not dare to forward the gate to use Domoticz from the outside
login problem

Re: login problem
I would recommend using VPN rather than port forwarding.
In my case I configured OpenVpn . https://openvpn.net
on my router (not all routers support that) and use the OpenVpn client on the mobile phone. The client is configured to connect On-demand, so as soon as I try to access Domoticz when not at home the VPN connects. You could leave the VPN active and configure it to only use for connecting to your home network (no delay when accessing Domotcz).
This way you have no open ports and don't need to worry about securing Domotcz as the VPN already authenticated you.

Re: login problem
VPN is not possible on my router.
Why does domtoicz not protect the subfolders.
