Hi Madgeni, on my side (blind inverted) i can succesfully say "kitchen blind 100%" and it will be closed, or 0% etc etc...
it's possible to add a command as:
CLOSE kitchen blind that match with 100% and OPEN that match 0%?
Thanks for keep improving this awesome plugin!

Thank you @Madgeni for your continuous work: I’ve recently updated Domoticz and I’ve noticed that now Controlicz is presenting also “dummy switches” to Google They are being identified as “light” type, so I can easily control each of them without needing scene.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
You can use the 'shortcuts' in the Google Home app to assign a phrase that you can say which is then interpreted to a command / device in Domoticz via Controlicz, I use this for my curtains ie: Say 'Open the curtains' = command <switch the curtains off>.
Domoticz Latest β, RPi 4B with 110Gb SSD for Domoticz, RPi 4B with 110Gb SSD for Node-Red & a RPi 2B for logging / IP addressing. RFXCOM, PiZiGate, Z-Wave, Harmony, Hue lamps and a bit of Broadlink.

@madgeni
Been super happy with Controlicz, going to send some beer tokens your way via Paypal, what is your preferred currency?

just a question: how do I control a Selector switch through Controlicz?
I have my vacuum cleaner (Xiaomi) which has different values for different duties (0 --> off, 10 --> clean, etc.).
If I say "Switch on the cleaner", Google home replies ok, but nothing happens.
If I say "Set the cleaner to level 10", Google home doesn't understand.
In Controlicz it's configured as a "Switch", so maybe it's not yet supported?
Thanks,
mantoz
Are you still waiting? or there are a solution for the switch types?.
I there is not a solution, any workarround?
thanks and sorry my poor english
Hi there - I wrote the code to handle Selector switches, but i'm waiting for GH to release the functionality. Once they do, it will work

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Ok, thanks a lot
i have a solution (dirty solution, but a solution)
I have a light in my room that i control with a domoticz ir, that is a selector switch with multiples values.
I rename this device as "lights_control" and create another device (switch on/off) that i name "lights_status".
light control is a slave of lights status, and in the light status on and off i put the script comand that i use in 0% and 10% in control.
When i use the "control" device, if refresh the status of the "status" device. And when i use the "status" device, its refresh the "control" device.
Afther this i add the "status" device in the controlicz user and i can see it in the web.
I think if I use this device in google assistant, it works and will be a solution to control only 2 states of a selector (lights, air purifier, etc...)
Now im waiting because this "status" device apears in the controlicz web but not in my google assistant config.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Not sure what I'v done, but suddenly I can see devices on the controlicz site. At least that would be the case if I actually had devices shown
I've created a user with the following settings: but the devices screen still is empty. Must be forgetting something simple, but can't figure out what. Maybe it's better to look at this tomorrow, when I the beer has left my system
btw... Original name, isn't it

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi Madgeni,
I have a question for you: I'm using Italian on my GH app. How can we users know when something new is implemented by Google?
I mean, for example I read and article about "Continuous conversation", but I think it's implemented only in the English version of GH. The same holds for the music alarm in the morning (using music instead of the normal sound). I assume that even the blinds control it's the same (it seems they're not working yet in Italian with the correct Italian commands "apri/chiudi").
I know this is not Controlicz-related, but for sure you are well informed about it
Thanks!!

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
All –
I first created what is now Controlicz all the way back in October 2016, initially open-sourcing the native Alexa smart home skill. This required a lot of setup and maintenance by users, and, as I wrote it, me.
From that, Controlicz was born, a cloud service to support the native integration with Alexa, which required minimal setup by the user, and provided the security and scalability necessary to handle a large, interested and excited user base.
Then, when Google Home was announced, and the Smart Home API was released, I was at the forefront, pushing them, hassling them, working late most evenings on conference calls and webexs with them, to get them to understand that there was a large customer base for open source home automation fans. Finally, proudly, in February this year, I released the first non-hardware manufacturer native Google Home App and continue to work with Google on their roadmap. All in my spare time!
Along with that, I host and maintain a (reasonably robust) platform for you all, and again, spend time and effort refining use cases, strengthening the experience for you, answering emails, forum posts, all in my spare time!
I have had immense support from a core set of people, and thank those people for their help, and the donations I’ve received.
However, the costs and effort I put in continue to be drag on me, and I have to announce that Controlicz will be moving to a subscription model shortly.
The cost will be €3/month, which – I believe – is a fair price for the service offered, which will help cover my costs and time in development and support.
This is not a decision I have made lightly, and I completely understand that this will be a disappointment to some, but hopefully you’ll understand and continue to enjoy the Smart Home experience. There is plenty more functionality to come this year, and as Alexa/Google release it, I will be working hard to add it to Controlicz for you.
As always, you can contact me either here, or via email – [email protected]

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Seems just fair to me especially since you put a lot of effort into Controlicz and your presence/support here on the forum is incredible.
I believe it is right to pay for a service like that: personally, It has helped me a lot, understanding and experimenting with Domoticz and Google Assistant.
People who cannot implement other solutions (like building their own Google-Speaker) or simply will not buy a Google Home but are using Domoticz can really benefit from this tool.
