Power meter control

Hi all:

I have a power meter that is measuring my solar panels energy. The amount of energy generated is directly related to the amount of solar exposure and I want to use that data to control a device, ie, if the amount of energy generated until 18:00h is greater than X set a device on, otherwise set it to off.

Anyone can help me on how to implement this?
