Expected behaviour of blind percentage switch

Hi

I am currently using blinds percentage switches to control diy blind motors via MQTT. The sliders send MQTT messages via a Node Red flow to an ESP8266 to move the blind. The final position of the blinds is returned via MQTT and a further Node Red flow to a dummy blinds percentage switch to avoid creating an endless loop.

I notice however that if I move the blinds "locally" i.e. from the WebUI outwith Domoticz the position of the slider is not updated. Is this the expected behaviour or am I doing something wrong?
