Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration Topic is solved

my both google home devices (two houses) say that they can't reach controlicz. No scenes defined in one house, in the other there are scenes. Do you have hints for me?

Just happened the same thing: remove Controlicz from your GA, wait a minute and then add it again. This should solve the issue. (worked for me right now)

Just did a quick test: created a scene with one device (the "infamous" light switch that won't sync otherwise) added to the Room Plan and then issued "Ok Google Sync My Devices".

The Scene appears now at the top of "My Devices" in Controlicz:

EDIT: Just tested the scene, works perfectly fine. Now I'm able to control the SonOff Switch via Scene. A bit more articulated than the ideal solution, but still perfectly operational. Thank you very much!

First of all, Controlicz is great.

I wonder which devices are taken in case there are several roomplans.
Seems to be the first two plans??
Should the plan Controlicz uses have a specific name?

hi -
Controlicz will take all devices in all room plans. Google has a hard limit of 120 devices (this may change) - just make sure the Domoticz user you provide Controlicz has access to all the devices (edit users>set devices).

starting from today i have a trouble with GH, when i say a commmand to turn on a specific light they answer that he didn't now what light must be turned on, i've tryed to change the name but doing this now when i ask to turn on that light they instead turn on 2 devices the light i have asked and another light with a different name, i didn't have made any changes form many days apart today to troubleshooting the issue but i'm not able to understand the strange behaviour. Can you help me ?

hah - i saw that too. I doubt very much they've allowed *any* levels to be passed through if we use 'Control' as the mode. I'll check later

OK...we will see. I hope you will not have to reopen this case and we will be able to use selector. It could be a HUGE improvement for this project.

regarding the validation by Google ? Still no news ? Nothing we can do ?

for info I just see a guy requesting mode and level control for Input of AV receiver...same story. The good point is : google seems really open to improve their API and tools.

do you know if we have some news on this point ? Still not possible to control custom device ? If a such feature exist it could permit to control a LOOOOT of device (HIFI, air cooling,...). I hop selector will bee support soon.

i have been using controlicz on my google home for a while now and it has been working great, but some days ago it stopped working, i have been testing the connection on controlicz website, ant its connected, but when i ask google to turn on or off something she says that "sorry i couldnt reach controlicz.

any ideas what could be the problem?

Sad News for all EU Users: Google has just removed all "domotic" integrations within Google Assistant! It is no longer possible to add/remove services to your GA Account. In fact, the whole menu has just disappeared from Settings!

Domotiz is still working with Controlicz but I don't know for how much longer: new users now can not add Controlicz to their GA. But old users who have already linked the service can still issue the "sync my devices" command. At the moment Scenes and Devices are still working, I have just checked all my devices in Controlicz and they are responding well in GA. I suspect this is all due the "infamous" GDPR legislation.

But on the Controlicz side I don't see the newer devices either. How can I resync between local Domoticz and Controlicz? Or should this be synced everytime? Because I have different devices that Controlicz doesn't spot.

I also sometimes use other icon types, but it seems Controlicz uses this for their type, instead of using the Device type for their type. Or am I mistaken?

Where have you heard this from? I’m in the EU, and Home Control is still available in Google Assistant, and as the owner/creator of Controlicz, I hope i’d have been notified.

I’d like you to remove this post, as it’s simply untrue, and will no doubt cause me trouble with people getting concerned for no reason. If there’s a GDPR issue, it will sit with me as the controller, not Google. And besides, you’ve signed up to their T&Cs which cover data protection already.
