Door sensor

Post by mickeyr61 »

I just bought a couple of cheap 433Mhz doorsensors, running on a AAA battery. I am trying to get them to work with Domoticz. When I put the battery in, and allow Domoticz to allow new devices. The switch is found in Domoticz. The type is Security, X10 Security, security (device ID CC2800). When I place the magnet near the device and remove it, in the Dashboard it says "Motion / Beweging", but it never is switched back to normal. The icon of the device is a red flashing light.

I cannot change the device type to a switch because it is autodetected and set.

Is there a way to get this work?

Can't you simply edit the created device and specify the Off delay?

I cannot set a delay. I only have a couple of fields available:

There is no field for specifying the off delay.

I have updated the firmware of the RFXcom receiver / transmitter (to version 1025) and now something is happening. When I move the magnet from the switch. The status of the switch is going to "Alarm". When I put the magnet next to the detector it says "Motion".

Because when the door is closed the status is "Motion", and when it is open it says "Alarm", this would be ok to trigger some events. Alarm status is fine, although the status "motion" is a little bit odd. Would be better if it would say "closed".

With a blocky you could say: if sensor1 = alarm, then set to normal after x seconds, works like a charm!
