I just new with Domoticz, very nice package from Jumbotroll for my NAS916+.
Works very well until the NAS made the update to the DSM 6.2.
It's seems there is no refresh now on the sensors.
Do you think you release your package for the DSM 6.2 for braswell ?

Thank you
Fabien
Braswell DSM 6.1 and DSM 6.2 use same toolchain and kernel, so domoticz for DSM 6.1 should work...
Take backup of domoticz.db and reinstall domoticz package and see if that helps.
So I tried to uninstall and reinstall but still not working.
I see in Hardware that the port is no longer recognized, I tried to installed the drivers for DSM 6.1 but nothing change.
If I connect on my NAS there is no port available on Domoticz, but on my computer my RFLink works great.

If you have any idea, I appreciate.
Thank you
Do not install the USBserialDriver package if you use domoticz!
All drivers are included in my packages!
I will try to download the toolchain and linux kernel for Braswell DSM 6.2 and build a new domoticz beta package for you.
You will find these under DSM 6.2 beta later tonight 8-)
If you like the work I do for synology and domoticz, I appreciate a donation.

Hello,
I have another problem, I don't know if I miss a step or not.
I program a store in the RFLink, and the line command works fine with the RFLink loader.
On Domoticz when I want add manually a switch, there is nothing on the hardware field. Normally I must have the RFLink listed on it ?
Thank you again

I saw you update the beta version to domoticz_braswell-6.2_3.0.9521-7.spk.
I tested with this new release but I have the same problem. When I add new switch manually in the hardware fiel there is an empty list and can't select the RFLink.

Very strange! Using same toolchain and kernel as before..
Try to log in to your NAS with Telnet and type: dmesg
Check for driver error output and copy/paste here.

It's work now. I was send a command with "Create RFLink Devices" in the "setup Hardware" and now The RFLink is showed on the Hardware line when I add a new switch manually.
Thank you for your help and sorry for the inconveniences.

Hello @ll.

I hope this is not too much off topic...
Is there a way to see the change log of those betas jumbotroll is compiling for all of us (again BIG thanks for your efforts on this!!!)?
I am always asking myself if I should update or not on those betas available. But I do not find a change log pointing me to the changes of a certain beta.
I see the domoticz github part but the change log there is not version specific (at least as far as I found out so far... maybe I just looked in the wrong way...). It sums up all changes made to the current available beta.
But since beta versions we can use on Synology are behind (version wise) the the general available beta versions it would be great to see which changes are in which beta.

Well it is late here on my side .... hope you understand my words and my question make sense somehow

Thanks for any hints.

@Jumbotroll:
Thank you for all your work on domoticz on Synology Nas!
I do have an question.
I have a DS111, recently updates to DSM6.2. I installed domoticz_88f6281-6.1_3.0.9056-7.spk on DSM6.1 before. I believe this was a python version.
I do not see a version for this NAS on http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_beta_6.2_python/
Is there a reason for this?
Or could I install: http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_beta_6.1 ... 9390-7.spk
Domoticz 2020.1 (12230) on Raspberry Pi 3B with Raspian Buster. Besides Domoticz, Rpi is running Pi-Hole.

It's getting complicated to compile domoticz with and without python for this prosessor, as it uses an older gcc464 and an older kernel linux-2.6.32.
I have limited time to work with this and we will see in the future if I want to continue compiling domoticz for NAS using this processor.
If you can use the DSM6.1 version, I do not know so you have to test.
If it does not work, it's only to uninstall it again.

Okay, I'll try 6.1 python version. Thank you for this quick reply!

Seems to works fine also on DS211j with DSM 6.2, but I don't have any serial USB dongle on it (only use it with Python scripts, Virtual Network devices and embedded Motherboard devices)

I have an issue to send notification by e-mail (Domoticz seems unable to recognize destination e-mail addresses, marking them as ! in log file with an error sending e-mail) but haven't tried it before upgrade of DSM so I'm not quite sure that it's a Domoticz or DSM issue.

Hi guys,

Been browsing this topic, and not sure if it's OK to update to DSM 6.2 at the moment? Can anyone advice?

I have a Synology DS716+II / INTEL Celeron N3160 with Domoticz installed via a package (Jadahl 3.0.8153-7).

Thanks!

You can update to DSM 6.2 then update my domoticz package for DSM 6.2.
Arch-braswell.
Beta:
http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_beta_6.2/
or
With python plugin (Python3 from synology must be installed first)
http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_beta_6.2_python/

Remember! Always take a backup of domoticz.db and scripts before update, just in case...
BTW! If you update from stable version to beta, the best solution is to do a clean install of domoticz package.

Yes, that was expected, but some USB drivers are different in DSM6.2 so if you get any problem with your USB devices, you can update to DSM 6.2 package.

Since updating to the recent beta (because of dsm 6.2) my DSM now alerts me with this message:

"one or more abnormal users have been found in the autentication file"

I'm geussing this is linked to the beta of domoticz, cause this never happened before?

Any ideas?
