Currently I have Domoticz installed on a Synology 413J using a a compiled package from Jumbotroll (thanks!). I also created a few Python files to control my Emotiva XMC-1 Surround Processor. Well installation of Python files on DSM5.x was quite easy but the new NAS will by default run on DSM 6.1. There copying of own created Python files is a bit more complicated from a windows PC (See

So I was wandering if using Docker and install Domoticz in a Docker environment might be easier to access and store own created Python files. Is this an option or should I bite the bullet for the above mentioned cumbersome method to access the files on the NAS...
Or are there other options?
Any advice is appreciated.
