LUA instruction for ICY Thermostat

Hi All,

I have a ICY thermostat and have made a LUA program to control it.
Everything is working well but I want to control the state for the thermostat as well.
I mean Fixed temperature, night temperature, day temperature and away temperature.
Does anyone have a idea how to send a (LUA or Json) command to the thermostat?

You probably don't get any replies as this is not an option implemented in the ICY interface as far as I know.
I am simply not using the thermostat scheduling functionality build into their website/app and let domoticz (a LUA time script) control the settings depending on Time and presence of people.

Thought you already went through that process as well?

Hi Jos,

Yes I did so temperaturecontrol is oké.
but my wife sometimes makes an adjustment on the thermostat itself and the it switches to confort or to night and I want it to always be on Fixed temp.
I have send a email to ICY whith the question for json commands to do that. When I get them I will publisch here of course.

I simply removed all ICY schedules and never use the provided Essent app, only the domoticz app, so this problem should not happen for us.

so you or your wife never changes the temp on the thermostat itself?
because when somebody does that then the thermostat switches from fixed temp to comfort or night, and then if the thermostat is seeing no movement for 2 hours it switches to nighttemp.

Yes, we do use the + and - buttons to set the thermostat, but that only changes the temp, not the mode it is in, and Domoticz reflects that changes made fine.
