Hello
Is it possible to update from stable to a specific build beta release ?
Where can I find the hash of a specific build beta release ?
I was always on beta and unfortunately have had many problems since a release with timers changes in December (sunset/sunrise variations)
Been updating since, and yet still could not get rid of some problems
For WAF's sake I am now back on stable (3.8153).
Works "alright" with some weird things with xiaomi gateway - not too surprising probably.
Now: I would like to upgrade from stable to the mid-december beta version (or last one before the sunset/sunrise changes) when all worked ok for my needs.
Just saw on a Dutch forum that this should be possible with manual commands as long as the build hash of this version is known
Sounds promising: could someone please tell me where I could find such hash information ?
I looked around on github pages, but so far no luck
Thanks !
Edit: this is the commit that created issues for me (I know it is normally fixed !) - so I'm for now targeting an earlier beta release/update

Re: How to ? update stable to specific beta release ?
Answering to myself.. think I want the one before so the "Commits on Dec 17, 2017 "
with full sha d642f4ca42ee020dc476d6677ad5e03548226d82
Is this correct ? anyone with experience in what I'd like to attempt ?

As far as I know (but I am not sure), the only solution is to pull the version you want from github and to compile it yourself. Hopefully someone can prove me wrong a provide you with an easier way to do what you want
