not using the zipato keypad to the max - numeric keypad and multi tag

Post by leoncornelissen »

Hi,

I'm using the Schlage Link Mini Keypad RFID for quite some time now and only with a couple of tags. But with the current default setup, I'm not using all features of the keypad.

there are 4 numbers on the keypad and the enter button, Wouldn't it be nice to also have the possibility to manually enter a code. Even better, that you can arm or disarm the alarm using one or multiple codes (depending on who is entering the building)
Or even have scene started based on a certain code.

This last feature should also be possible with the tags, that you can apply one tag to arm the house and another tag to enter sleep scene for instance.

At this moment, I see a lot of communication popping op in the openzwave control panel, so the information should be available but are there plans to implement this? Or is there a way how we can add more functionality ourselves?

I'll think it's the same procedure as in this how-to
https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Zwave#Usi ... Tag_Reader

Except
# 5 press the away button on the reader, when the red light is on, scan the tag
Instead of "scan the tag", enter a digit code. Followed by OK (Center button)
