Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
So, I have just taken the plunge to properly understand this and get it working and unlinked the LightwaveRF app from Google Assistant...
I am trying to understand;
Lights with dimmers = Lightbulb
Lights without dimmers = Generic
Other devices (like a TV connected to a plugin socket switch) = TV or other image
So, when I say "Brighten the lights" the dimmers will increase but the lights plugged into plugin socket switch will not
When I say "Switch of all the lights" the dimmers and the generic plugin sockets will switch off but NOT the TV plugin socket
When I say "switch off everything" everything gets switched off...
Is there no chance that you could read the switch type field in domoticz rather that reply upon the image - I have the floor plan and would rather all the lights were lights and not switches (which I suppose they actually are).
Am I on the right tracks?
Also - whilst I am thinking about things - now that GH recognises different voices, the ability to link more than 1 google account to the same settings would be great. This way I dont have to go through the same set-up with the wife!

What i've tried to do, is to take the very disparate set of hardware challenges that Domoticz handles, and filter that down to basically the two options Google (or Alexa) give me - Lights, or switches. Lots of switches, and hardware types use the device.type = 'light'.
Now, a wall socket, is a switch, not a light - it may drive a light, it may drive a TV etc etc. So if you want it to be treated as a light, change the image to a bulb, if you want it to be a switch, then the 'generic' image is the right choice.
Google adds some natural language processing, so if it recognises something as a light, and you put a bunch of them in a room, with some switches, you can say "turn off the lights in the room" and it will turn off lights, but not switches.

um, settings - Home Control - accounts, unlink Home Controlicz, then you can relink it (off the top of my head)

Whether I say comma or point, Google translates as a comma. And he triggers a search.
But you're right, if I type the request with a point, then it works... So... Google bug...
Do you know if there is a place to report such bugs to Google?

re: decimal rounding - Google say:
"Assistant may round the number to give a better conversational answer. Saying a long decimal may not make sense. However in Celcius having some extra precision may be useful."

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi,
I can't manage to have my devices list in Google Assistant. Everytime I add [test] home Controlicz service and allow Google to access my account, it seems to work until the step "Room Management" , I'm redirect to the services list with a message "account liked" but my devices list is empty and service is not linked.
On controlicz.com, test button says "Controlicz can connect to tour Domoticz!"
On Google Action, my versio is "AoG Draft Snapshot - 1/23/18"
I tried :
To change Google Action version
To disable / enable Google Action
To create an user with limited devices authorization
To change language (i'm french)
To clear application cache
To update domoticz on the last beta
on an other device
I don(t know what to do next. Any ideas ?
Thanks

Done, but no changes
I tried every version but I've got the same result.
Update : I've just notice that when I change version for on review I'm on AoG V2 Snapshot - 1/23/18, 12:42 PM

Do you have devices in at least one room plan in Domoticz?

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi Madgeni,
I tried to register with my email, Which seems to have worked, since I got a confirmation email. But on every link I click I get a htaccess password popup? Could it be caused because I don't use a normal gmail account but a google for domains email?

I get the popup on almost every button I click.
'Test Domoticz' -> popup
Update profile -> profile opens but when I click the submit button -> popup
'Signup for Google Home' -> js popup with email sent after that popup
'Delete User' -> popup
This happens in Firefox and Chrome on Win 10 64bit.
