Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi Madgeni, thanks for your reply.
Well I'm not too sure of how I'm supposed to proceed.
I've registered to controlicz and activated "Actions on Google" through the link I got in the mail.
Am I supposed to be able to communicate with domoticz directly with GA on my phone or am I supposed to perform some additionnal tasks somewhere ?
Thanks again.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
if you've enabled Controlicz via the simulator, then in GA, go into Settings>Home Control, and you should see Controlicz. If you're not seeing Home Control in your app, there's a URL somewhere in this thread which will show you how to fix it.
Once enabled, you can just type "turn on the light", "activate the scene", "Sync my devices" in GA

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I couldn't see Controlicz in the Home Control menu.
It's working fine now! Thanks!
Woo hoo! This is a tremendous job! Keep on going and let me know if I can help in any way.
Thanks again!
I've found a behavior that seems strange I think.
I've got a temperature sensor in my living room.
When I ask GA the temperature in the room, it answers :
"La température est actuellement de 19° et le thermostat Température Salon est éteint" which literally means "The temperature of the room is 18° and the setpoint Temperature Salon is off". I'm just wondering of what the "setpoint to off" part means.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
it means Google hates me
It doesn't matter what I pass there, it always reports as 'Off' - its a bug they've acknowledged.
Some bad news on the testing front - had this email from the test team:
"I’ve confirmed with Google that we cannot test with dummy sensors. Results must pass with real hardware. The reasoning here is that Google wants to certify all assistant projects, including virtual hubs, with physical endpoint devices because that is representative of what a user would experience in the real world.
I also understand your position that there are some things out of your control with respect to what Domoticz does and doesn’t allow. While some failures may not be your (Controlicz) fault, there is a basic bar of quality that must be passed. This bar is that the system as a whole (Controlicz+Domoticz) can pass applicable QA test cases and provide via Assistant a home automation experience which mirrors the controls of the physical application.
If there are failures which cannot be fixed due to the endpoint HW in test, please feel free to send us other hardware which will Pass. If there are failures cannot be fixed with new hardware, google will have to provide a waiver else the project will be rejected."

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi,
it looks Fantastic !
It works fine ( in french), I can request temp from a specific room. However as mentioned by others I get " le thermostat salon est éteint, avec une temperature ambiante de 21.5 degrés" ( sensor or thermostat is off, room temperature is 21.5 degrés) .
Other big issue is with the values, the temperatures given don't match the values in domoticz. it's always off by a couple of degrees. By any chance can it read humidity as well? It could be fun. The sensors I use give both.
I would really appreciate a fix and can definitely support you once a fix is applied. I will clearly use it on a daily basis.

Hi - the value being off is weird - when you've got a few posts written, can you PM your email address.4rno wrote: ↑Friday 19 January 2018 16:14 Hi,

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Is there a thermostat that is commonly used by Domoticz users, which people are using, and works ok with Controlicz? oh, and not too expensive, as i'll be testing with it, then shipping the bloody thing to Google to test (and then choke on)

I double checked it and it's not off by a couple of degrees but roughly by 0.5 degrees.Madgeni wrote: ↑Friday 19 January 2018 16:50Hi - the value being off is weird - when you've got a few posts written, can you PM your email address.4rno wrote: ↑Friday 19 January 2018 16:14 Hi,

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I'm going to guess that Google is rounding, as i just pass the queried value into the json payload. I'll do some digging

Hi Madgeni,
Are you talking about a setpoint (thermostat) or a temperature sensor?
For the setpoint (thermostat in French) I'm using a zwave Danfoss Link RS (80€)
For the temp sensors, I'm using devices from Oregon Scientific.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Do you know if it's possible to control Shutters with Controlicz ?
I've got shutters that are controled by a Qubino "Flush Shutter". It's declared in domoticz as a dimmer (so I can half-open it).
But I can't figure out how to drive it through GA and Controlicz. I declared to switch as part of my living room. But when I say "Ferme le volet du salon", (close the living room's shutter) GA doesn't understand the order and triggers a search.
Another problem :
Still in the living room, I declared a thermostat for the wanted temperature and a temp sensor.
When I ask for the temperature in the room it says :
"Impossible de trouver le thermostat Thermostat ambiance. La temperature est actuellement de 19.5° et le thermostat Temperature Salon est éteint" (Impossible to find the thermostat Thermostat ambiance. The temperature est currently 19.5° and the thermostat Temperature Salon is off").
Do you have an idea of why it says that it can't find the "Thermostat ambiance" setpoint ?
Thanks again for your brillant work !

Thinks are getting better. I've managed to open / close my shutters with GA and Controlicz.Fred78 wrote: ↑Friday 19 January 2018 19:51 Do you know if it's possible to control Shutters with Controlicz ?

Still remains this strange thing with the thermostat (impossible to find the thermostat xxxxx).

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi, it looks like I have similar issue with reporting the temperature on sensors. GH reads "the name of sensor" is off and the temperature is ...
@Magdeni, thanks for the efforts which integrates the GH and Domoticz, it looks really mature and simply - works like it should!
