Same devices - different 433 messages???

Hi all,

I've said in my previous thread - I've got about 20 MD-2018R vibration glass sensors:

MOST of them are picked up like this:

Meiantech/Atlantic/Aidebao:

Packettype    = Security1
subtype       = Meiantech/Atlantic/Aidebao
Sequence nbr  = 0
id1-3         = CD81AA decimal:13468074
status        = Motion
battery level = OK
Signal level  = 8  -56dBm

Strange - but 4 of them will only show up in RFXmngr when undecoded is on - and are like this:

Visonic PowerCode motion:

Code: Select all

Packettype        = UNDECODED RF Message
UNDECODED VISONIC:12A91240 

They are found in domoticz only when VISONIC is the only mode turned on - you have to turn all others off.

They dont function like the other sensors either when they are added.

Do you think this could be a setting that has been changed by the way the battery was put in/taken out sequence - or does anyone have any ideas why identical devices could be sening out different messages?

Are you sure they use the same hardware inside?

Hardware is 100% identical - I've made an example - device on left will not work, device on right works.

Device on the left just sends a bad message.



Does anyone think this could be fixed? With maybe a sequence of battery removals or something?

(The switches just control sensitivity of device.)

Thanks to b_weijenberg for showing me - that when Meiantech/Atlantic ONLY is enabled in mode - the device is sending out the correct message:

id1-3         = 5581AA decimal:5603754
status        = Motion
battery level = OK
Signal level  = 8  -56dBm

So does that mean this device has the same ID as one of my lightwave devices or something?

And all others work ok because they have different ids?
