Howto get result from openURL call in LUA (dzVents) variable

Is it possible to get the result from a domoticz.openURL(some http::// json type call) into a variable ?

I can't use dzevents 2.3 in the stable version of domoticz and we'll have 2.4?
Do you know how i could use 2.3 o better into my stable domoticz???
