Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Maybe you should add a controlbox at the Controlicz page to let people opt-in to the google home beta, "tick if you want me to add you to the google home beta"
So this e-mail posts stop, they mess this thread up a bit.

Sure, a controlbox, which offers no purpose.
I have to manually add each and every one of you, until such time as Google accept Controlicz, and I have a real job, so please, if there's a post here with an email in it, just unfocus your eyes and ignore it

Maybe time for a subfolder under "Third party and supplementary tools " where you are able to make multiple topics and one could be to ask to be added to the test

I don't think you understood the essence of my proposal.
Since this value would be stored in your database, you would see which User is requesting access and you could add them, manually, as you clearly stated

Right, so in the Profile Page of Controlicz, there is now a button to sign up for Google Home.
You're welcome.

Hello Madgeni,
I dunno ift its an Issue with Controlicz or Google himself. If i Say "OK Google Brunnen an" Goggle says i dunno what to do. Also ".... Brunnen ein". I have to say "..... Brunnen anschalten".
To switch off i can say ".... Brunnen aus" or ".... Brunnen ausschalten" or "... Brunnen abschalten" All works.

@madgeni
I think that you should have just left people to post their requests to join here. That way they at least visit this thread once and maybe learn something, although few seem to actually read even the post above theirs and fewer return to give feedback as can be seen by their post counts remaining at one..
Obviously there are a number of people here who do return an give useful feedback.
I think that you are doing a brilliant job maintaining not just the GH integration but also Alexa to Domoticz. so don't let some divert you and dilute your efforts.
For myself, all is working well for all the stuff I use with GH and Domoticz except that is, for the thing with temperature query responses saying 'Off'. Which isn't a big deal.

Thanks alanlsmith - it is slightly dispiriting when the overall work I do is overlooked for a minor irritant - and yes, the majority of people posting once, and never hearing from them again is also dispiriting, but i wrote it for people to use, so can't be too annoyed when they do!

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I think you have done a great job and all works very well expect for a few small things.
The issue i have with this forum that you have so many long treads and you could easy enough split it to topic in separate treads and have a better overview if what is going on, that is not only is this tread but overall.
How did the testing of Google go on monday??

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hey, i know that and if I owned the forums, i would definitely split them out, it's no easier for me to track requests than it is for you guys to make them
Google - we're definitely getting there. It failed initially on Nest behaviour, which I think i've explained away, and provided them with alternative solutions - setting up dummy sensors etc. It also failed on Hue, but again, that's down to Hue not returning state.
It's definitely getting there, as the testing is being done by a 3rd party, but i've been working with the Google Home Smart Home team, who are more supportive. I'm confident it will be approved soon.

That's good to hear and I hope it's less frustrating for you ( working with the Google Home Smart Home team, that is )

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I add new devices but Google Home cannot see it although Alexa discovered it and I can control it with her. Is there any google command to resync it similar to Alexa's: "Alexa, discover devices"?
