Hmm, this is a pretty standard jumper setting. (you need off course to use all the jumpers) So, I cant figure out why you have a ON command and all the people in this topic have a OFF command. Strange :-)

Yeah I figured. Already made a code with 5 jumpers, so less common. I compared the picture with my sensor and the PCB is the same. If someone can make a picture of the other side, I can compare that also. Maybe there is an extra solder joint which sets a different bit or something like that. Or the 2262 chip is different, I don't know..

Not completly true, this one has a 1527 chip (learning mode) Take a look at http://www.hkvstar.com/technology-news/ ... v1527.html to see the difference

Think you might be right. Wrong url although the description of the seller is not very clear.

At least this one has the 2262 in the url:

Got mine today!, it shows as lightning 5 and sends a OFF command. So its wierd some other people have a version which send a ON command, I bought the same as the ones posted in this thread, from heli.porter. Maybe its something with the protocols or protocols? I had to set the ARC protocol on to see it in domoticz

How did you guys use it in domoticz, as a lightswitch (on/off) or contact?

I have the jumpers the same as the picture posted and there are no dipswitches. Can you explain what you mean bigdog with dipswitches?

I had to enable lighting4 protocol. Don't know about ARC, maybe it sends two protocols?

Ok, I tested something.

It does send a on command! Only when you set the lightning4 protocol on, it will see the senor as a lightswitch subtype PT2265

RFXtrx433 F55555 0 voordeur Lighting 4 PT2262 On 7 - Apparaat verwijderen Log 2014-05-10 12:33:02

The only thing is you cannot set lighting4 and ARC on at the same time. It only sends 1 command though. So its either off or on.
It send an off command when the contact is broken if its set on ARC, and an on command when set on lighting4 when the contact is broken.

Also, I have 2 now up and running (front and back door) and when you both put the jumpers on the same position this will give false results. So when the frontdoor is openend it shows as the backdoor. I changed the jumper from the second row to the last row and it now shows as 5555D5 and is different from the front one. I will post my results after a couple of days testing :geek:

GREAT!, sorry for the late reply, been busy with other projects. And all at the same time... You know how it sometime goes with a hobby :lol:

I never missed a door opening and when my alarm is switched on, I get a message with telegram and that works also everytime. I am very happy with the couple of bucks I spent on the sensors. I wish I ordered some more so I didn't have to wait a couple of weeks again. Thats the downside when you order thru ebay: the delivery time...

Raspberry piet has modified one and mounted one on his letterbox. http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ... =60#p16136

I really liked it! :lol: And you can adjust the sensors anyway you like, they don't cost much anyway

Same 2262 chip and jumpers.
I ordered one.
Will report here if working or not.

edit: Yes! the RFXCOM recognized it as:

Code: Select all

0710010050100070
Packettype    = Lighting1
subtype       = ARC
Sequence nbr  = 0
housecode     = P
unitcode      = 16
Command       = Off
Signal level  = 7
The pir pcb looks slightly different as advertised.
Type PIR538C.
Signal transmission time is about one second. (1.3s)
Have to find out about the different jumper settings.
Piet, do you have this PIR?:

Yes i've the same PIR.
Make sure you place a jumper to the 3.3M pins! (4.7M & 1.5m Won't work anyway for ARC signals)
Other jumpers you have to try. Don't know how many combinations makes it send a different ARC signal. Most combinations won't.
These are my jumper settings:

So i found some other ON codes :)

only yellow: ARC P16 ON
yellow + orange: ARC P8 ON
yellow + green: ARC P12 ON
yellow + blue: ARC P14 ON
yellow + gray: ARC P15 ON

**ignore the jumpers, old settings not working. distance only 3.3m**

it would be great if you could change the polling interval. Now it polls every 5 seconds when movement is detected. Would be great if it was every minute after detection.

Does anyone know how long this sensor can operate with the included battery?

I orderd and received the door sensors yesterday.
It really is more reliable then the KAKU door sensors.
But too bad there's only one state (ON or OFF) and not both. So unfortunately I cannot use it as a door sensor like KAKU.
Are there other door sensors out there which can replace the KAKU door sensor?

Hmm strange. When I follow your instructions with only yellow I get an OFF code:
Lighting 1 ARC Off 7

Now my question is how I can trigger this motion sensor to turn on the light in my toilet? I tried to put this in an Event but it doesn't work:
