No, doesn't work, but thanks for trying.
Cheers,
Thomas
so if you curl https://yourhost:port/json.htm?type=command&param=setkelvinlevel&idx=63&kelvin=50

does that not do anything?
I only get a positive response in the browser ({
"status" : "OK",
"title" : "Set Kelvin Level"
})
other that, nothing.

In the past if you say white it did change to warm white almost yellow to the max warm white of the mi light bulbs.
If i ask now for white they change to cold white.
If i ask for warm white the change to something in between warm and cold white
Is that good or bad? It sounds bad.
Good question.
I think it would be better to have the lights change to full warm white if you ask for white as that is the more natural color for the lights.
And if you ask for cold light that they change to cold light.
Or ask for warm white to get warm, if you askfor cold white you get cold white and if you ask white that it is in between warm and cold

so google interprets 'White' as 5000 Kelvin - which tells me they think of white as 'cold'.
I'll take another look, once i get more feedback :)

As far as I know there are various models on the market. Mine is an RGBW which is only capable of one white (warm white).

I think the older models such as RGBW and RGBWW are only RGB and one temperature of white, warm or cool. They ignore the Set Kelvin command, hence my 'bodge' earlier. Newer lamps RGBDW have the ability to alter the colour temperature. Of course there's also 'nightlight mode'.

so why are you asking it to change the warmth of the white? i'm confused!

I think what Tyturion means is not the ability to change the colour temperature but to set the lamps to their predetermined white. And like with my lamps, Google sends the Set Kelvin command, Domoticz accepts it but the MiLight control box just ignores it, so you can't change the lamp to white using Google at the moment. Unless you use a work around

Hi Madgeni,

Please could I also be included in the beta? Controlicz is setup and registered with the email address with my forum username @gmail.com.

Thanks in advance

I've applied for the Beta some days ago but can't access it. In case u missed it, here's my e-mailadres i signed up with: [email protected].

Also, is the source code from controlicz available somewhere? Couldn't find it on Github/Gitlab or on a forum post here.

Alan is absolutely right here. My lamps only have got one white level just like Alans lamps. I'm going to implement the workaround for now.

@madgeni: have you done some changes to the code by any chance? Because Domoticz does not seem to display the "Set Kelvin Level" as switch state any longer...which would be needed for the workaround as described earlier by Alan.

Cheers,
Thomas

@Tyturion
Mine still show 'Set Kelvin Level' so I don't think there is any change but if there was it illustrates why I don't like workarounds and bodges as if there had been a change they would no longer work, just adding more complexity and possible confusion. Even though I suggested a workaround myself.
