That works perfectly, thank you very much. I can undo my bodge now. (Never liked bodges anyway, they always come back and bite you.)

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
it's my mistake - i fixed this for Alexa early on, but forgot to transfer across to Google. It's an 'enterprise' fix, not just for lightwaverf - i get the maxdimlevel from Domoticz at discovery and store it, then some quick maths applied when setting/adjusting light levels.

Is syncing working atm?
Controlling the devices is working, but if i say "Sync my devices" i'am getting an error.

Migration done, hello Home Assistant.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
This is not at all important but I think the LightwaveRF dimmers have a range of 0-31 although the MaxDimLevel as reported to / by Domoticz is 32 which is the number of steps so if you try to set the level ( either by Domoticz or Google ) to 100% it slides back to 96% after a couple of seconds ( the actual lumen output is not affected ), likewise if you set it to 50% by Google the internal level in Domoticz is 15 and the percentage is 46%. This 4% deficiency seems consistent over the whole range.
Obviously as the percentage is being resolved to a much coarser index so it will always be inaccurate.
As I said it's not of any importance in it's real world use but it's the sort of thing that I tend to find interesting but that's me, middle name of 'Nerd', ( actually 'Old Nerd', normally shortened by people who know me to 'Old Fart' , normally followed by 'ignore him.')

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Dear Madgeni, i've been using the Amazone Alexa for quite some time (in the Netherlands) and have a lot configured with HABridge and Domoticz. Last week i've bought myself a Google Home Mini to explore the possibilities with HABridge and than noticed Google has disrupted it all... Now migrating my Harmony stuff to Domoticz from HABridge and would love to test it out on the Google Home Mini. Could you please add me to the beta program to test it out. I can compare the Echo vs Google devices on the same settings. Have a lot of devices (Nest, 433 transmitter, Harmony Hub, etc) available for testing.
I hope you're able to add me to the Beta program and show me how to configure my Google Home Mini to start testing.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. i could not send a pm to you as i'm new to the board. I don't want to put my e-mail address on a public board in the discussions. Hope you can PM me so i can reply.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Awesome work Madgeni! Paypal donation is on the way.
Got it to work pretty quickly. I already use floorplans in domoticz for a touch screen hanging in my living room.
Just for your information: I encountered the following issues (user errors are not ruled out):
1. assigning the devices to rooms (in google home on my phone), gave me errors when saving ("connection timed out"). It did save the room with the device eventually.
2. after the first testing with controlicz, I made a few changes to devices in domoticz, I unlinked and linked the account again. I suddenly had duplicates rooms: 5 living rooms, only 1 had devices connected to it. 7 attics,4 bathrooms....and I can assure you I live in a modest home...
I may have messed up myself...in some way. I don't know. I removed them manually.
3. I asked google to set the temperature to 20 degrees....it set all my temperature sensors in my whole house to 20 degrees celcius.
4. I use "sync my devices" on google home to receive changes that I made. I do get the friendly names that I add in domoticz, but it doesn't remove devices that I removed from the floorplans in domoticz. A bigger issue seems that I don't get new devices that I added in domoticz.
Perhaps any tips on the last issue.
Furthermore, I was wondering whethering there will be support for door sensor and movement sensors. It would be nice to know whether a window is open, or when the last movement was detected in a room.
Edit: solved issue 4 by adding the missing devices to the controlicz user in domoticz.... User error
keep up the good work!

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I use IFTTT and a shortcut in Google Home so that asking 'Are the windows shut' triggers a variable which in turn activates a switch in Domoticz which then uses an MQTT listener to start a Node-Red flow that queries all my door and window contacts and Google Home tells me which ones, if any are open.
Another use for this. I have a 'goodnight' switch which turns off all the lights at bedtime but leaves a couple of lights on for a time so that I can see my way up the stairs, this also triggers the switch that checks the doors and windows but only responds if any are open.
Gosh, that sounds awfully long winded but it's fairly straight forward, although I admit the initial set up does take awhile. but once you have done it Node-Red and Google Home are pretty useful together.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Yes, read about node red and it sounds complicated... Probably will end up investing some time in it. But it would be nice to maintain one platform instead of different solutions for similar requestsalanlsmith wrote: ↑Wednesday 03 January 2018 0:27I use IFTTT and a shortcut in Google Home so that asking 'Are the windows shut' triggers a variable which in turn activates a switch in Domoticz which then uses an MQTT listener to start a Node-Red flow that queries all my door and window contacts and Google Home tells me which ones, if any are open.
