Just found out that in beta version v3.5879 if you delete Hardware all the associated devices are deleted as well.
so no more orphan devices in your device list!

Re: Add HardwareID (nodeID) to Device list page
that's interesting, so it sounds like there's a way to "link" Hardware (as in Z-Wave device) with a Domo device somehow..
I can't understand why we can't see this in the device list so that we can easily see which devices have been created by a "Z-Wave device"

Re: Add HardwareID (nodeID) to Device list page
Earlier today a deleted test Hardware (Atag one) in this case and a message conformation box appears that if I click OK also all the associated devices will be removed form the device list.
And indeed the are deleted. So there must be a relation somewhere, perhaps the relation is made in the code and not in the database.
Although the Atag One is not a z-wave device, it still is Hardware with it's own devices.

Re: Add HardwareID (nodeID) to Device list page
I've scavenged the DB and couldn't find anything relevant

Table ZwaveNodes holds the HardwareID. So is DeviceStatus, and so is the device interface in the WEB gui.

Re: Add HardwareID (nodeID) to Device list page
I'm either missing the point or have explained myself incorrect.
the HArdwareID you mention is not a device node ID. So say you can have an Aeon Z-Stick (HardwareID 2) and multiple a Fibaro Dimmer (nodeID 10).
There's no way on the UI or the database to know what devices (DevicesStatus) have been created by nodeID 10 - not as far as i know.
All you can tell is what devices have been created by the Hardware - Aeon Stick, HardwareID....makes sense?

Re: Add HardwareID (nodeID) to Device list page
I am amazed that this has not been fixed yet
It is a pain every time I add a new device to locate all its sensors and try to figure out which one is from the new device.
Surely this must be easy to fix?!
