Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
There seems to be a new command to synchronise the devices.
A German news site wrote about it, so I will give it a try in German when im at Home.

Migration done, hello Home Assistant.

Great! Nice of them to let developers know
I'll try it now, and see what happens

For those with connectivity issues, have updated your Profile page in Controlicz with functionality to test connections

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
so I owe you a massive apology. Something has changed on Google's side, and now it's no longer reading changes to the names (using the Controlicz: tag). They are being set, but Google is no longer refreshing them. I'll raise another issue with them and let you knowbldewit wrote: ↑Thursday 14 December 2017 11:19 Hi Madgeni...
I used it for several days and I must say, it worked like a charm. Kudos for that! I noticed however that some of the names of my devices were not so practical (dutch names in an English Google Home) so I added some names in description fields.
Queriïng devices did not trigger the names to be added to my Google Home, so I went into the GH app and unlinked the Controlicz service.

Big thx from me! I have just been able to add the service again to GH! Test it later because I am not home right now. As for our google friends, wel, .... no need for you to apologize for them!Madgeni wrote: ↑Thursday 14 December 2017 14:48so I owe you a massive apology. Allright, hopefully this issue will be solved in the near futureMadgeni wrote: ↑Thursday 14 December 2017 13:32 pretty much what i put -

the documentation has been cheekily changed since I raised this with them - initially they had "custom names need to be submitted to Google" - now they've put:
"Currently, you must use the names in the example JSON; custom names are not yet supported."

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Okay, that works fine; Also with german language. But how i can add additional devices?
I added them in the floorplan, but in the google home i can't find an update button. Where is my fault?

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
have you tried "Sync my devices" ? also, devices need to be in room plans, not floor plans
querying a device will resync all devices also

Thanks Madgeni for the test button, I've been able to spot error in my Nginx reverse proxy config that prevents Controlicx to access Domoticz!
