Temperature Overlay with amcrest NVR and cams

Hello, I have a question that I need help with. Referencing this thread https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/temperatu ... ras.20640/ , I have a raspberry pi and a amcrest 4108 nvr and two amcrest ip3m-954e cams. I'd love to insert a temperature overlay into the cameras I have. I read the above thread and think it may be possible since amcrest cams are re-branded dahua units. Do you think this is possible with my setup using domoticz and an online weather source or hardware sensor if needed ?
