Configuring a Sonoff 4 channel on Domoticz/mqtt help needed

Post by femuruy »

Hello guys i need some help on how to configure a Sonoff 4ch (4 channel relay) with ESPeasy last version already installed on with raspberry pi3/Domoticz/MQTT because i am utterly confused!
how do i add it to domoticz and how do i add each of the individual channels so i can operate them independently?

Thank you in advance for your help!

In Tasmota you can configure each channel seperately by Idx number. Is it possible to enter that in ESPEasy as well? That should be your answer.
The Idx number is found after adding your MQTT Gateway hardware device and a Dummy switch. You can select Add virtual switches after that to create 4 switches, which you can use with your 4ch Sonoff.

On Tasmota this all works fine, however I do not have any experience with ESPEasy. Good luck!
