I bought those but how do I see them in Domoticz?
They are on. But not visible. What setting does my RFXCOM need to communicate with them.

Hi,

I ordered (and received) 2 of these Banggood thermometers, but I cannot use them.
They are working perfect with RFXCOM RFXtrx433E USB 433.92MHz Transceiver, but not with the Type2 firmware (which I need for my Philips power switches). They are working with the Ext & Ext2 firmware.
If someone is interested in these 2 Banggood thermometers, you can buy them from me for €17,00 (excl. shipping).
The good thing is: I live in the Netherlands (Nieuw-Vennep) and you don't have to wait 6 weeks for your order from China!

Please let me know if you are interested!

Regards,
Rob

I can confirm that these are working exactly as they should and also battery-life is fine. I do not have any complaints.

The only point I want to make is that it is old-fashioned to think that something bought on Amazon (or in a local shop) with a non-Chinese brand is made in Europe/US and therefore is better quality; most likely it is made in China and probably in the same factory.
Maybe the one with the nice English brand is made by child hands in People's Republic of Korea.
Please don’t fool yourself or others.
Can anyone please confirm these sensors still works with the rfxtrx433e and the latest firmware? I read someone was having problems with an AliExpress sensor and the latest rfxtrx-firmware?

Edit: I just realized the "product is no longer available", does anyone know of another temp/humid sensor that works with rfxtrx that is available on AliExpress now?

I am also looking to expand my temperature sensors and the Cresta TX-320 which at my preferred supplier was around 10 euros is not any longer available. So i am looking for new opportunities.

Hi,

How many of these can you use simultaneously next to each other connected to 1 domoticz system?

I want to monitor temp and humidity in about 7 rooms + 1 outdoor.

Is this possible connecting 8 of these sensors to 1 domoticz system? Or do the rf addresses interfere?

Thanks in advance for the information!

These sensors offer only 3 channels. So 3 of these is OK. More will probably interfere.

I thought I let you guys know...

In the meantime i'm testing with 5 of these on the same channel. Now running 3 weeks next to eachother without any interference.

Don't know yet about batterij life...?!

Great news, but there will be a point (in theory) when two of them are gonna report in the exact same second which may result in interference.

I have my thoughts about the accuracy of the humidity on these daniu sensors. Any info would greatly help! Because I have no idea if I'm looking at correct data :-s

Anyone have any experience with the correctness of the measurements?

looking for a thermometer that can handle high temperatures

Post by iffen5 »

I have used Rubicson's bending thermometer but it works badly. Is anyone who has tried any other thermometer or solution where you can measure temperatures up to 300 degrees?

You're right. The humidity sensor is not accurate. My Kerui sensor showed 79% after showering and the Daniu sensor 52%
In my living room (next to each other) 48% (Kerui) - 44% (Daniu).

Hai All,
I just recieved my Digoo TH1980 sensor set for temperature measurments for both indoor and outdoor.
After I inserted the batteries, it almost immediately showed in my Domoticz installation running on my Synology with an RFXCOM RFXtrx433E.

However, as I would expect both temperature values, it shows temperature and humidity values.

Already tried to reset the connection with both the domoticz as the communication between both sensor devices.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
