Hi all,
Maybe I missed it... but is it possible to let Domoticz do something after receiving a specific signal (with Rfxcom).
That means the Rfxcom must be always listing to receive signals. Maybe this isn't even possible (sending and receiving at the same time).
For example: I have a kaku remote. Pressing the On button triggers Domotics to flip a Virtual Switch / Start a Scene... etc...
Thanks
Receive signal, do something... possible?

As soon as you have a device for it in Domoticz you can trigger anything you want.
Kaku remotes come as switches so it's not that difficult to do something with them.

Transmit and receive are on the same frequency, so the answer is NO. If the RFXCom want's to transmit something it first listens if nobody else is transmitting to avoid collisions.CreatoX wrote: ↑Wednesday 18 October 2017 19:42 Maybe I missed it... but is it possible to let Domoticz do something after receiving a specific signal (with Rfxcom).

Oke, I understand transmitting and receiving at the same time is not possible. But when it is not transmitting something, how do I let it listen and do something. Must I add a device for this?
Please a little help
Thanks

I figured it out... it was just much simpeler as I thought it would be. Feel so stupid
Just add a new Switch using the Learn Light/Switch does this. I thought this was for learning the to use transmitting signal
